We cordially invite you to a lecture and guided tour of the exhibition Second Sun, which was created as a part of the cooperation with the Creative Industry Košice and Art & Tech Days Festival.
The Winter Open Studios Night will belong to our two residents Nikola Ivanov (CZ) and Pau Saiz Soler (ESP). During the evening, they will present the starting points of their work and talk about the Second Sun project, which they created as part of the Art&Tech Days festival.

This artistic project is queer Palestine expressing our patriotism to the oppression that attempts to deny our heritage, our love to our land, and our existence as a collective.
Unknown Reverberations أصداء مجهولة ” is a visual per(form)ance art in a form of a promenade, based on a post migrational perspective on Queerness in relation to Arab* Identity(s). Ahmad BَaBَa will take the audience through a journey between different temporal and spatiel dimensions of “queer” existence. : an invisible past, incorporating linguistic, social, cultural, and religious elements on erotic, sexual and “non-normative” discourses from classical Arab* manuscripts. Into a distorted present that challenge the hegemony of Western narratives about Arabo-Islamic sexual and gender identities, asking why are we expected to identify with a “queerness” that we had no power in creating? Towards imagining a utopic future that holds more questions than offer answers.
