Creative Industry Košice & K.A.I.R. Košice Artists in Residence announce an open call for media artists from UNESCO Creative Cities. The deadline to apply to the residency is 30 June 2020.
Our traditional format of workshops in collaboration with residential artists will once again be moved to your living rooms. Anna Manankina from Ukraine and Sanja Anđelković from Serbia have prepared a special online WORDSHOP for you, during which they will present their favourite publications in a special audiovisual version.
Anna Manankina (*1995) is an interdisciplinary media artist from Kharkiv, Ukraine, working within the field of digital technologies with video, sound, 3D-animation and printing with an emphasis on posthumanism and feminist practice.
Ján Skaličan (1989, Bratislava, SK) is a Slovak visual artist who works mainly within the field of photography and overlaps into thinking about his possibilities at present.
Visual, new media and sound art and performance are the fields covered within the residential programme Plants AiR, which gives local artists a chance to reside and work within the project K.A.I.R. Košice Artist in Residence in Košice (Slovakia).
