Košice Artist in Residence
In this very first issue of Open Studios Night of 2019, two Slovak artists – Svetlana Fialová and Denisa Slavkovská, will tell you a little bit about their time spent at residencies in Japan and Ukraine and on what are they currently working.
Sytze Schalk is an award-winning Dutch playwright, (social) game designer and transmedia content producer who’s now back with a new project and is currently doing research in Košice for his upcoming theater game ‘We (…) The People’.
K.A.I.R. Košice Artist in residence and NAZAR VOITOVYCH ART RESIDENCE invite visual artists from Ukraine to take part in the two-months residency in Košice, Slovakia.
Svetlana Fialová (* 1985) works and lives in Košice, and she’s going on a 2-month residency stay in Youkobo Art Space in Tokyo, Japan. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Painting Studio II of Vladimír Skrepl and in 2015 completed her doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava.
