Olena Pronkina – The Adaptation Diary

With her captivating painting, Olena Pronkina draws us into stories in which scenes from her real life intertwine with parallel dream worlds. Color, a painting technique reminiscent of a fresco and suggestive environments or compositions will attract our curiosity with positive anticipation. But the melancholy-emptied faces and the inquisitively almost longingly lengthening limbs of the monumental shapeless figures indicate the experience of other stories

Natalia Revko – There is Always Something on the Horizon

Natalia Revko is a curator and researcher from Odesa, who participated in a two-month KAIR residency. During this time Natalia was researching the topography and landscape of Kosice tracing city flows, the influence of public art objects on routes as well as how citizens overtake the city by walking.
