V sobotu 30. júna príďte do Tabačky Kulturfabrik ochutnať dobré jedlo a zdieľať s umelcami z rôznych krajín nové myšlienky o humore v čase krízy a užiť si rozhovor s nimi.

Borderline Offensive je trojročný projekt, ktorý využíva umenie a humor na adresovanie náročných tém ako sú problémy migrácie, kontaktných zón a interkultúrneho konfliktu a ako nástroj na zdieľanie myšlienok, názorov a vedomostí. Počas týchto 3 rokov vybraní umelci navštevujú rôzne krajiny a snažia sa spojiť lokálne komunity a novoprichádzajúcich migrantov.

Budete mať možnosť stretnúť Petra Kočiša, ktorý je lokálnym umelcom, spoluzakladateľom a členom  divadla NA PERÓNE, v ktorom pôsobí ako herec a režisér. Sytze Schalk je oceňovaný holandský dramatik, (sociálny) herný dizajnér, ktorý taktiež učí naratívny dizajn na Utrechtskej škole umenia. Ďalším členom je PROTA (Dragan Protic), ktorý je spoluzakladateľom skupiny ŠKART, ktorá spochybňuje hranaté formy poézie, architektúry, grafického dizajnu, a mnohých ďalších médií. Khaled Jarrar  je multidisciplinárny palestínsky umelec, ktorý skúma vplyv moderných bojov o moc na bežných občanoch častokrát kontroverzným spôsobom.

Projekt je podporený z grantovej schémy Creative Europe, ďalej projekt z verejných zdrojov podporil Fond na podporu umenia a Västra Götaland Region. V Košiciach projekt organizuje Creative Industry Košice v spolupráci s K.A.I.R. Košice Artist in Residence. Udalosť Borderfood je organizovaná v spolupráci s Tabačkou Kulturfabrik.

On Saturday 30th of June come to Tabačka Kulturfabrik to taste great food and share new ideas with international artists about humor in times of crisis and enjoy the dialogue.

Borderline Offensive is a three-year transnational project which uses art and humor to address difficult topics, such as issues of migration, sociological contact zones, and intercultural conflict, and as a tool to share thoughts, opinions and our knowledge. During these 3 years, the chosen artists are visiting different countries and are trying to bring together local communities and newly arrived migrants.

You will be able to meet Peter Kočiš, who is a local artist and a co-founder and a member of a theater NA PERÓNE, in which he works as an actor and director. Sytze Schalk is an award-winning Dutch playwright, (social) game designer, who is also teaching narrative design at the Utrecht School of Arts. Next member is PROTA (Dragan Protic), who is a co-founder of the ŠKART group, which is questioning edged forms of poetry, architecture, graphic design and many other media. Khaled Jarrar is a multidisciplinary Palestinian artist who explores the impact of modern-day power struggles on ordinary citizens in a controversial way.

The project is supported by Creative Europe, using public funding by Slovak Arts Council and Västra Götaland Region. In Košice, the project is organized by Creative Industry Košice in cooperation with K.A.I.R. Košice Artist in Residence. The event Borderfood is organized in cooperation with Tabačka Kulturfabrik.
