anto_nie (CZ)

anto_nie is an interdisciplinary artist, game designer, educator and facilitator. In their work they focus on topics like folklore, monstrosity, environmentalism and herbal knowledge. They work with narrative game mechanics of role-playing games, 3D, game engines, immersive audio and other ways of building communal (non)physical spaces. They create miniatures, lead workshops, and educational programs.

The residency of anto_nie is implemented as part of the international project Deconstructing Myths: Art Residencies in the V4 Region, which addresses the rise of nationalism, particularly in the V4 region, through the exploration of traditional symbols and narratives. The project is carried out in collaboration with partners from the Czech Republic (MeetFactory), Hungary (aqb), and Poland (Goiky 3 Art Inkubator).

The project is supported by the International Visegrad Fund. The residency of anto_nie is also supported by the Czech Centres.
