Elisabeth Kraus (GER)

Elisabeth Liselotte Kraus, born in Bamberg in 1992, studied Fine Arts at the Bauhaus University Weimar (2012-2017) and the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul (2008-2009). She works in the fields of sculpturing, installation and performance, whereas her artistic focus is on painting. She takes various artistic paths, where there is always a high degree of experiment in her work.

Jagoda Dobecka (PL)

Jagoda Dobecka (1991) is a Polish visual artist based in Wrocław who uses traditional media, such as painting, sculpture, video to talk about current political and social issues. In 2016 she graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław at the Painting Faculty.

6 ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE SELECTED FOR HYDRA PACE RESIDENCY

Out of the 30 submissions received in response to the international open call, the international jury, composed of representatives of the partners of the international Hydra PACE – Platform for Artistic Collaboration and Exchange programme, has selected six artists from Slovakia, Palestine and Slovenia to take part in international residencies in the above-mentioned countries. The project is supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation.

Open Call for German artists – Košice, Slovakia

KAIR Košice Artist in Residence and Artist-in-Residence program (AIR) of the Schafhof – European Center for Art Upper Bavaria invite visual or interdisciplinary artists based or coming from the Upper Bavaria district of Germany to take part in the two-months residency in Košice, Slovakia.

Tijana Radenković (RS)

Tijana Radenković is a visual artist from Serbia, now living in Slovakia Bratislava. Her work is at the intersection of identity, body, bio-living systems and contemporary collections (wunderkammer). Radenković’s interests are focused towards examining the identity, problematization, function and perception of the human body, beauty and ideals.
